5-Minute Hair Style for the Lazy or Busy Naturalisa!

My hair has been put away and protected for MONTHS, so I've been enjoying an array of headwraps, and CovaGirls™ (if you're new here, that's what I call my wigs) while I decide that I want to do next.  I always enjoyed the exotical (yes, I know that's probably not a word, but I love it) way braids and twists made me feel, so I featured those looks all of last spring, summer, and fall.

This winter, I stumbled upon a Sista-owned brand, Darcel's Tresses, that hand-makes various styles of  CovaGirls™ , and of course I picked up a braided one.

You know I'm always going to hook you up with the quick & simple, fun & versatile!  Check out my first impressions (video) on my latest CovaGirl™, that I picked up from
Darcel's Tresses!

Thanks for reading and watching!

P.S.
Below I included some braid sheen spray options, and a scalp oil that may come in handy during protective styling.

Top Afro Kinky Curly Wigs on Amazon

Although spring is approaching, and I'm getting near the end of my CovaGirl™ protective styling, I'm still in the mood to play with some hair.  I've been having fun quickly changing my hairstyles without the hassle, and I've purged my collection of natural hair wigs, so I'm in the market for more.  During my usual browse for natural looking kinky curly CovaGirls™, I picked a few, top-rated options, from Amazon, to consider.
1. Sunwell Unprocessed Brazilian Human Virgin Hair Afro Kinky Curly Lace Front Wig 12 inch.
I just need my hoops and a bomb lippie and I can rock this one 'til the break of dawn!

2.  K'ryssma® Kinky Curly Wig Synthetic Lace Front Half Hand Full Wig.
I actually purchased this one a couple years ago, and cut it into a new style.  Kinky Curly wigs are really forgiving when cutting into them.  If I get this one again, I may leave it in the original style, or maybe just cut long, but big layers!

3.  K'ryssma® Fluffy Afro Kinky Curly Human Wig Indian Remy 10 inches.
Hhhm.  If I get a short one, I wouldn't have to cut the long ones.

4.  K'ryssma Natural Looking Afro Kinky Curly Wig / Non-Glueless Lace Human Hair.
A reviewer was rocking this one in both its Afro state and in twists!  At first, I thought it was his natural hair!

5. Vanessa Queen Afro Kinky Curly Wig Heat Resistant & Synthetic.
This one comes in 16" and 18" both for the same price...at least for now.

6.  Anogol Kinky Curly Synthetic Lace Front Wig 20 inches Tied.

7.  Beshe Drew Lace Front Wig Synthetic.
Much to my surprise, this unit scored less than 4 stars, but out of all the wigs I have, this is the only one I've purchased multiple times.  Because I love it, I had to include it.  I like to restyle and reshape these into various Afro options.  Stepping out of my 1B box, I lucked up on a 1B/purple a few years ago.

In a future post, I'll be sure to bring you along when I search for the best kinky straight CovaGirls™.  In the meantime...

Which are your favorites?

Thanks for browsing with me!

Easy Faux Loc Tutorial. Brand NEW Method to Create Crochet Goddess Locs w/ NO Cornrows.

The fall season makes me excited to rock my beloved CovaGirls™, and other protective natural hairstyles.  A girl gets no rest from all of the ideas swirling in her head.  "What style should I wear next, and for how long?", I ask myself.  Of course I seldom have a concrete answer, but that's beside the point. LOL

To help me decide...NO, to further agonize myself with more options, I head over to old trusty YouTube.  Apparently it's a game I like play with myself; we'll call it "Torture"-- I win and lose everytime.

Anyway, this time, I stumbled a cool video tutorial that teaches us a super easy method for acheiving faux locs without cornrowing!  Not only do I need, want and live for all things easy, but I'm cornrow-challenged, so yeah, I am beside myself with joy right now!

This method has me pondering other easy DIY protective style ideas, and yes, you'll be the second to know about them, as they come to mind.

In the meantime check out this tutorial.

Leave a comment, and tell me what you think.  When you try it, what color will you choose for your look?
